Moodeum — Find Art That Mirrors Your Emotional State

Describe how you feel right now. Receive a real painting from world museums — Metropolitan Museum, Rijksmuseum, National Gallery of Art — that resonates with your emotional state. Save your personal gallery of feelings.

What is Moodeum?

Moodeum is an AI-powered platform that matches your emotional state with real artworks from world museum collections. Unlike AI image generators, Moodeum uses only real paintings made by real artists — works that have carried human emotion for centuries.

How it works

You describe your current emotional state in a few honest sentences. Our AI analyzes the emotional content and finds a painting from museum collections that resonates with exactly what you feel. You receive the artwork along with its emotional resonance, the artist's story, and a reflective question. On paid plans, you also receive a bilingual poem and a personal affirmation.

Why real art, not AI-generated images

Moodeum was founded by Alsu Javadi, a practicing psychologist, out of concern that AI-generated content erodes appreciation for real art and museums. Every artwork in Moodeum comes from open-access museum collections (CC0 license).

Museum collections

Moodeum sources artworks from the Metropolitan Museum of Art in New York, the Rijksmuseum in Amsterdam, the National Gallery of Art in Washington DC, the Smithsonian Institution, and thousands of open-access works via Wikimedia Commons.
